Product Sampling
Here at Wholesale Promotional Products, we understand that many of our clients want to see the quality of our products before committing to purchase. With so many products at our disposal, this is not a problem for us to organize. All it takes is a small postage and handling fee for each item to be sent to you. If you need a few different styles of smaller items such as key-tags or pens, usually we can send a few items for the small delivery fee. Some commonly asked questions regarding samples
So what are the sample fees?
Usually this depends on the size of the item that you order a sample of. For standard sized items such as pens, stubby holders, key-tags, stationery and desktop items the charge is generally around $10.00 ex GST. For large or more expensive items, the samples are charged at the per unit price, plus a per weight postage fee. For example; ordering a sample of large piggy banks, would mean the per unit delivery charge would be approximately $19.00 ex GST. For items that cost more than $5.00 per unit, such as USB Flash drives or MP3 players, you would be charged the cost of the item as well as the delivery fee.
Do you refund the cost upon placing the order or returning the samples?
We do not refund the costs of the samples, as the fee is mainly for delivery. If the order is substantial following a sample order, we do offer to refund the cost of the sample. By substantial, depending on the item, it is usually for more than 1000 units.
Can I get custom decorated samples with my logo?
Yes, we do offer pre-production samples. The costs depend on the item you want to see decorated, and the complexity involved in decoration. You would be charged a set up fee and the print costs per item. This may seem expensive for 1 item, but set up fees are charged to set the machines up for custom decoration. If you do decide to go ahead with the order as it was sampled, you would not need to pay another set up fee as the machines would already have your logo ready for print, engraving or embroidery production.
What about items that come direct from overseas?
We can organize samples from our overseas factory. If you have a FEDEX or UPS account, we can bill the delivery charges directly to your account. Otherwise, we can organize delivery for you and send you an invoice. You would also be charged the price of the item. Prices depend on our dollar value and overseas pricing.
How do I order samples?
To order a sample/s simply fill in one of the forms on our website and enter the item number that you require samples for. Remember to include your delivery address, we do not accept PO Boxes to send items to as we use couriers. So please provide a valid street address. You will then be sent an invoice with the sample charge and payment information.
How can I pay for samples?
We accept the following payment methods; direct bank deposit, cheque (items sent following clearance), credit cards (via PayPal) or money order.
