Screen Printing
Many of the products that you see advertised on our website have the ability to be decorated in various methods. One of these methods is screen printing. Screen printing is the most traditional method of printing on products and apparel. It has been around since the turn of the century. In 200 AD block printing began in China and we have adapted this style to suit modern times. Wholesale Promotional Products Pty Ltd offers screen printing for many of our products. The benefits of screen printing are that it is practical and high quality. Paint colours can reflect the PMS colours of your corporate logo, and this will highlight the company’s brand. Generally speaking, screen printing is the best decoration method for logos that contain less than four colours and are solid rather than shaded. Using an industrial printer, our promotional items are printed at great speed but high quality. This allows for fast turnaround times.
How does screen-printing work?
A screen is made using a piece of fabric (originally silk, which is where the name silk screen came from) usually porous polyester that is stretched over a frame. The image has been transferred onto the fabric by way of a printed image that has been exposed using film positives. The paint is then filtered through the frame by a machine, and then dried; this is done using drying racks. If the image contains more than one colour, the process begins again.
The main advantage of using screen printing to decorate promotional merchandise is that it allows a large space to be decorated, meaning that your message is much more exposed and visible. We offer screen printing on many of our products so if you want to know if one of the products that we offer can be screen printed on, please do not hesitate to contact us. Some of these include; apparel, t-shirts, bags, caps, stubby holders, and polo’s, compendiums and heaps more products.
Dye Sublimation
Some of our items can be printed using a technique called dye sublimation. This means that full colour photographic items can be printed. This technique involves literally dying the fabric or material the colour of the print. Of course the designated area can be printed; it just means that the print will blend with the material. This technique is achieved using a quality heat resistant transfer paper and specific sublimation paints. Our most popular items that are sublimated are stubby holders. Many of our clients prefer a full colour image on a stubby and this can be achieved with dye sublimation. We have a specific set of pens that can be sublimated also, meaning that you can have photos printed on them; these items are also very popular.
